Home Decorating Hacks: Self Adhesive Hooks
Use them in the bathroom. Use them in the kitchen. Use them in the living room. Use them outside. There is no place you can't use them. Plus, they don't put holes in the wall and take only minutes to install. And because of all of this, there is nothing I don't love about self adhesive hooks as a beautiful, cost effective, time saving, home decorating hack!

If you are currently renting your home, this could be a perfect way to beautify your space without damaging your walls and increasing your chances of getting that ever important security deposit check back in your hands at the end of your lease. I call that a "no brainer."
Once upon a time self adhesive hooks only came in basic styles and colors that only held up a pound or two. Now, you can find hooks that are decorative, have multiple uses, and are capable of holding up to 12 pounds or more.
Imagine the possibilities: hang towels, coats, backpacks, necklaces, decorations on the outside of your home, and small pictures on the wall. They have recently come out with drawer pulls as well, which are my new favorite! Sure, they do fall off sometimes, but with the simple steps of peel and stick to reinstall them, it is a no sweat process to get my things right back in order.
The other added bonus of these types of hooks is that if you feel like you need to freshen up your home to get back on trend, this is a simple, cost effective, and damage free way to do so.
If you haven't explored this option yet, I highly recommend it! Oh, and no, I don't get paid to say these things. I am just speaking from personal experience. Check out this video to see how to install them and if you have any other questions about how to decorate your home to prepare it to sell, let us know. We have great connections to home stagers and designers that can help with the more permanent type of fixtures as well!
